Energy bills are soaring beyond our control and without sustained change our climate is suffering. A solar installation is the perfect solution for your home or business to combat this.

The solar sector has revolutionised and generating zero emissions power through our solar PV systems has never been easier or more efficient. With Hampshire enjoying one of the sunniest climates in the UK, your panels will even be able to produce green energy on cloudy days, enabling you to save up to 80% on your annual energy bills.

For homeowners looking towards increasing the EPC rating of their household, our systems – depending on which system is installed – can increase the value of your rating by up to 20 points. OUR AIM is to provide our customers with an affordable system of the highest quality, tailored to their lifestyle.

Solar PV Panels Explained

Solar Panels transform daylight into electricity, which homeowners can then turn in to earnings and energy savings. The sun's energy is absorbed by solar cells in photovoltaic (PV) panels before being converted into electricity. This can then be used in the home or fed back into the national grid.

How does Solar PV work?

Daylight causes an electric field across layers of silicon in the cells, creating an electric current. Within seconds of reaching the earth's surface, photons from the sun energise electrons in the silicon which can then power devices in homes across the country.

Domestic Solar panel systems are connected to the national grid so that any extra electricity that hasn't been used in the home created by a Solar power can be used by other homes. A fee is paid by the electricity company for every kWh generated by the solar panels, regardless of whether you use it, or it is exported to the national grid.

Your home will also be fitted with a monitoring device to keep track of the total amount of electricity generated by your PV panel Solar system.

Solar panels do not need direct sunlight to function and even on a cloudy day will generate electricity. And so as the daylight hours pass, your earnings will increase.
